Anthropomorphic Pocket Squares

Description

The Anthropomorphic collection is born from the most authentic inspiration: the tiles of the Pavilion of Charles V in the Gardens of the Royal Alcázar of Seville. I’ve rescued their unique motifs—the Faun, the Unicorn, and the Centaur—and combined them with the harmony of their borders.

I’ve hand-painted each figure, using the original palette of these centuries-old tiles: blues, greens, blacks, and honey tones. Colors that come from the natural oxides of Cobalt, Copper, Manganese, and Iron that stand out against a pastel background that brings calm and luminosity.

With an ideal size of 35 x 35 cm, this pocket square is designed for your jacket pocket, offering a touch of simple beauty and a detail that speaks of living tradition. It’s a piece of art crafted with time and dedication, connecting you with history and craftsmanship through the softness of silk.

The Anthropomorphic painted silk pocket squares are pieces made one by one in the workshop in a completely handcrafted way. I start with the design of the drawing, transfer it to the silk, and apply the dye with brushes onto the piece stretched on a frame. Then the silk is set in a steamer so it can be washed without the colors changing. The result of this careful process is a unique, exclusive, and completely handcrafted piece.

Care

We recommend washing the pocket square following the instructions included in the box. With delicate garment detergent without leaving it submerged in water for a long time, letting it dry on top of a towel horizontally and ironing inside out with a cloth on top.

Materials and size

The pocket square size is 35×35 cm and the type of silk used is habotai or pongee 08.

Shipping times

Orders have a maximum shipping time of 15 days once payment is confirmed, although if in stock they are prepared on the same day or the next day from 10:30 to 13:00, once payment is confirmed.

They will be sent by express courier to be received within 2 or 3 days from shipping if within the Peninsula and 3 to 6 if outside. The customer will receive a confirmation email when the item is dispatched.

No shipments are made on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
