Lemon Tree Fan

Description

The Lemon Tree fan captures the freshness and scent of its fruit. The yellow of the lemons and the white of their blossoms stand out against the intense background.

I carry out the entire process for each fan by hand in my own workshop: from the design, painting the silk, steam-setting it, starching it, pleating it, and mounting it onto kotibé ribs with the “aea” seal, Abanico Español Artesano. The result is a unique, exclusive piece.

Care

It’s recommended to store the fan folded with its elastic band to keep the pleats, and to put it in its sleeve to protect it.

Materials and size

The silk fabric glued to the ribs is natural silk crêpe, initially white, painted on a frame before assembly with special steam-fix dyes for silk.

The ribs are made of polished kotibé (danta) wood and carry the “aea” seal, Abanico Español Artesano. It comes in a case with a sleeve.

The fan length is 23 cm.

Additional information

Orders have a maximum dispatch time of 15 days once payment is confirmed, although if it’s in stock it’s prepared the same day or the next, from 10:30 to 13:00, once payment is confirmed.

They’ll be sent by express courier, to be received 2–3 days after dispatch within mainland Spain, and 3–6 days outside. The customer will receive an email confirming the item has shipped.

No shipments are made on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
